ORIGAMI STAR FLOWER BALL DECORATION
This wonderful origami star flower ball decoration looks beautiful at Weddings - they can be used as table centrepieces or hung up to decorate the ceiling. They can also be given out as Wedding favours to the guest.
You need 24 pieces of circle shaped paper to make one ball. This is divided into the ball consisting of 4 stars, which each have 6 petals each.
They're easy to make, but cutting out circular shaped paper and gluing them together can be time consuming!
To make a petal off, fold 1 piece of paper in half then unfold it
Now fold the paper in half the other way and unfold it, the lines should be in a shape of an X and have four triangle type shapes
Pinch along the line to bring two of the triangle shapes together
Then fold back the rest of that side of the paper to form the petal shapes and glue the edges together
Repeat that 5 more times until you have 6 star petals and glue them each together
Once you've glued 6 of the petals together, you now have a star. Now make 3 more stars.
Once you've made 4 stars altogether, assemble them together like this using pegs to get a perfect ball shape, then glue each point one by one, removing each peg at a time.
and you're done!
