Original Ukiyo-e Animal Print - Dance to Fly
This collection combines traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e art styles with modern ones, giving it a fun and unique twist.
Based on traditional Ukiyo-e style paintings, Dance to Fly symbolising the act of letting go and feeling free through movement, similar to how a bird is free and able to fly where ever they please.
The Japanese poem is a classic from The Tale of Genji - Wakamurasaki.
Japanese: 見てもまた 逢ふ夜まれなる 夢のうちに やがてまぎるるわが身てもがな
English Translation: I would become one with this most precious of dreams, for though I see you now, there may never be a night when we meet again.
