CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING - DAY 18 - FAN SHELL WRAP

Today we're going to be showing you how to make a fan shell inspired gift wrap.

Materials you need for this are: 

• Wrapping paper
• Tape 

You want your wrapping paper to be at least 3 x the length of your gift.

Step 1: Wrap your gift with the paper marking out the creases of how much wrapping paper you need to wrap it. 

Step 2: Make eight equal pleats along the excess paper.

Step 3: Draw lines to divide each pleat for folding. 

Step 4: Starting from the right, create a valley fold then mountain fold and repeat until you get to the end. Tape it in place.

Step 5: Wrap the paper around your gift and tape in place.

Step 6: Tuck in the edges at the end and fold over the excess paper and tape in place.

Step 7: Fold over the top of the pleat, tape in place and you're done!
