CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING - DAY 8 - FASTEST & EASIEST WAY TO WRAP A BOTTLE
Share
In keeping with our bottle theme yesterday, today we will be showing you the fastest and easiest way to gift wrap a bottle. We've got our video tutorial linked below or you can follow along step by step here.
Materials you need for this are:
- 1 sheet of wrapping paper - this can be the same size or slightly smaller than your bottle
- 1 sheet of tissue paper - this needs to be longer than your bottle
- Double sided tape
- String or ribbon
Step 1: Pick out your papers to go with your bottle, making sure the tissue paper is longer than the bottle.
Step 2: Line your bottle up to the edge leaving a gap below and above, then roll it to the other side and tape.
Step 3: Tuck the excess paper underneath the bottle and tape.
Step 4: Grab your string and tie a bow at the top around the neck of the bottle.
Step 5: Make a note of how high you want your wrapping paper to go, fold the excess up at the bottom, fold it back down onto itself to create an overlap and tape at the back.
Step 6: Wrap your wrapping paper around the bottle, apply tape and you're done!
On December 4th we'll be hosting a gift wrapping workshop in collaboration with L.F. Markey at their East London Dalston Lane store, click here for more information on the tickets.
We'll also have a new gift wrapping tutorial video out every Friday, and other origami tutorials out every Tuesday in the run up to Christmas.
