Washi tape, also known as MT tape, has become a massive phenomenon used in arts and crafts over the past 13 years. It was designed when a group of female artists based in Tokyo emailed Kamoi Kakoshi, a masking tape company in Japan, about how they had been using his tape in crafting projects. The company was amazed and decided to give them a visit, which resulted in the creation of the worlds cutest masking tape!
