Washi tape, also known as MT tape, has become a massive phenomenon used in arts and crafts over the past 13 years. It was designed when a group of female artists based in Tokyo emailed Kamoi Kakoshi, a masking tape company in Japan, about how they had been using his tape in crafting projects. The company was amazed and decided to give them a visit, which resulted in the creation of the worlds cutest masking tape!
Washi tape is made from high quality rice paper and is easy to tear, stick, remove and write on. It's perfect for decorating and leaving no damage behind.
You can use it for a multitude of different crafting projects, including:
Hanging up posters, notes, postcards or art.
Decorating, creating tabs and sticking items to your notebooks.
Decorating jars and other items.
Creating greeting cards.
Gift wrapping.
Making art.
and so much more!
