A Festive Fold: Origami Baubles for Hermès Christmas in London
This Christmas season in London, our studio was delighted to be invited by Hermès to create a bespoke festive experience for their customers — a project filled with colour, creativity, and a touch of origami magic.

At the heart of this celebration were hundreds of handmade origami baubles, crafted in our studio with care and precision. Each bauble was folded from coloured paper and topped with delicate ribbons, finished with either a cute bow or a bow tie — depending on each customer’s style. The decorations were inspired by the Hermès seasonal muses: Jessica and Claude, and came in a dreamy palette of soft baby pink and sky blue, alongside the brand’s iconic colours — bright orange, deep green, rich blue, and bold pink.

It was pure joy to see the store come alive as customers joined us to create their own “Beautree” — a whimsical Christmas tree made from their self-decorated baubles. The in-store workshops were filled with laughter, concentration, and lots of ribbon! For many, it was their first time trying origami, and we loved guiding them through the folding process.

Making an origami bauble isn’t as simple as it may seem. Each one involves multiple precise folds and careful assembly — but the results are more than worth it. Watching paper transform into these charming ornaments, and seeing the delight on people’s faces as they held their finished baubles, was incredibly rewarding.

These baubles weren’t just festive decorations — they were little keepsakes of a shared creative moment. And what better gift to bring home than something beautiful made by your own hands?

We’re so grateful to Hermès for the opportunity to be part of this magical celebration. From folding to fastening, every step of the journey was a joy — and we’re already looking forward to the next creative adventure.
