Today I'll be creating a double layered gift wrap.
Materials you need for this are:
- 2 sheets of wrapping paper
- Paint
- A paintbrush
- Double sided tape
- String or ribbon
Step 1: I decided to paint one of my layers to give it this lovely effect. To replicate this look apply paint to the tip of the brush and make fast low pressure strokes onto your paper.
Step 2: Measure up your two pieces of wrapping paper, your second piece should be slightly longer than the top layer so it can overhang on one side.
Step 3: Wrap around your gift and tape in place between both layers.
Step 4: On the side without the extra layer hanging out, crease in the edges then fold them down.
Step 5: Tuck the edges in then fold over and tape down.
Step 6: Repeat the same steps on the other side.
Step 7: Tie around some ribbon and you're done!
