Today we'll be creating our very own 3D effect DIY wrapping paper.
Materials you need for this are:
- 2 sheets of wrapping paper
- Scrap paper
- String or ribbon
- Tape
- Scissors
- A pen or pencil
Step 1: Measure out both sheets of wrapping paper to make sure they can each fit around the gift, then wrap your gift using one sheet of wrapping paper.
Step 2: On a scrap piece of paper, trace out a design and make a cut out. You only need half of your design split down the middle. We decided to go with a simple Christmas Tree.
Step 3: Use your template to trace out your design several times across your wrapping paper sheet, then cut out along the traced line to create flaps.
Step 4: Wrap the second sheet around your gift and open up all of the flaps.
Step 5: Wrap around a ribbon and you're done!
